About the Role
COURT BAILIFF
The Hanover County Sheriff's Office offers lateral transfers to court bailiffs who have law enforcement experience in
the state of Virginia. In partnership with our community, the members of the Sheriff's Office promise to provide all
citizens with the highest degree of protection for their lives and property, and to develop community responsibility at
reducing crime and enhancing safety through problem-solving tactics, thereby creating an environment where crime cannot
flourish. Starting annual salary will be determined based on career ladder level and years of experience.
